On this day (January 21) in the year 1857, the following advertisements appeared in the "New Hampshire Patriot & State Gazette." (Concord, N.H.; Vol. 10., No. 505.): -------------------------------------------------------- To Daguerreotypists. The subscribers have on hand for sale a supply of materials for the use of DAGUERREAN ARTISTS, consisting of Cases, Plates, Mats, Preservers, Rot- ten Stone, &c., &c., They intend to keep a full supply of the above articles on hand, which will be sold as low, at least, as can be purchased in Boston. Orders, by mail or otherwise, solicited. MORRILL & SILSBY, 115 Main St., opposite the Depot. Concord, Dec.31, 1856. 6m - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A M B R O T Y P E S. THE subscriber would respectfully invite public attention to the new and beautiful pictures which he is now taking at his rooms in Exchange Building. These pictures are taken on fine plate Glass, and rendered imperishable by cementing to another glass, with the picture inside. They are bold, clear and distinct, are not reversed, and will not change in any climate. We are enabled to take better likenesses of Children by this process, as we can operate in one-fifth the time required to take a Daguerreotype. Copies taken of Daguerre- otypes, Portraits, &c. Pictures taken of deceased persons and invalids at their residences. Please call and examine specimens. Prices reasonable. Instruction given in the art. W. D. McPHERSON.
